Gopal Snacks

Gopal Snacks is engaged in the business of manufacturing various types of ready-to-eat namkeens, snack pallets, corn products, potato chips, papad, besan, spices, etc. Gopal Snacks Limited initially formed as a Partnership Firm as "Gopal Gruh Udhyog" at Rajkot, India effective from April 1, 1999, was registered under the Partnership Act, 1932 with the Registrar of Firms, Rajkot on October 19, 2006. The name of the Partnership Firm changed to "Gopal Snacks" with effect from November 23, 2009. Further, the Partnership Firm subsequently converted into a Joint Stock Company and got registered as a Private Limited Company under the name "Gopal Snacks Private Limited" dated December 7, 2009, issued by the Registrar of Companies, Gujarat. Subsequently, the Company converted into a Public Limited Company through which the name of Company got changed to "Gopal Snacks Limited", and the RoC issued a fresh Certificate of Incorporation on March 31, 2023. The Company is fast-moving consumer goods company in India, offering variety of savoury products under the brand `Gopal', including ethnic snacks such as namkeen and gathiya, western snacks such as wafers, snack pellets and extruder snacks, along with fast-moving consumer goods that include papad, spices, gram flour or besan, noodles, rusk and soan papdi. The Company started manufacturing operations in Rajkot, Gujarat during the year 2010. In 2015, it got into automation and engineering, in 2017, it introduced an engineering and fabrication facility at Rajkot to manufacture customised containers on logistic vehicles for transportation of their products to distributors. It started manufacturing operations in Nagpur, Maharashtra in 2018. Again during the same period, it strengthened backward integration by manufacturing of besan in Rajkot. Through expansion process in 2019, it manufactured raw snacks pellet and spices at another ancillary facility in Rajkot. In 2021, it started operations at Modasa Plant in Gujarat and in 2022-23, it established an ancillary manufacturing facility in Modasa to manufacture raw snack pellets. In March 2024, the Company launched the Initial Public Offer of 16,216,886 Equity Shares of face value of Re 1/- each by raising funds aggregating to Rs 650 Cr. through Offer for Sale. Company launched Korean BBQ Wafers under the youth-centric brand "Cristos" in June 2024. Additionally, in July 2024, it launched Soya Sticks tapping into the growing demand for protein-based snacking options. Company introduced Kolapuri Bhadang and SabudanaChivdain June 2024, further diversifying its ethnic namkeen offerings. It ventured into the Snack Pellets segment with the launch of Pizza Pasta Fryums in October 2024 and expanded its Wafers category.
